Geingob extends condolences to Muheua's family

Africa-Press – Namibia. PRESIDENT Hage Geingob has expressed condolences to the late Alpheus Muheua’s family.

In his message of condolence on Thursday, the president praised the late Muheua for being hardworking and reliable.

“I have worked with comrade Muheua for many years, and he was always reliable, hardworking, affable and pleasant to work with,” he said.

Geingob added that Namibia lost an upstanding citizen and Swapo lost a cadre.

“I wish to extend sincere condolences to his dear wife, Mrs Kashona Muheua, the children, the family and fellow comrades. May the soul of comrade Muheua rest in eternal peace,” Geingob said.

Muheua was the president of the National Union of Namibian Workers before he served as the deputy minister of labour and social welfare.

Muheua died on Wednesday.
