Africa-Press – Namibia. PRESIDENT Hage Geingob has been invited as a Guest of Honour for the 58th Independence Anniversary Commemorations of the Republic of Zambia.
President Geingob has been invited by Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema as the Guest of Honour, and he will deliver the keynote address at the investiture ceremony on the occasion of the 58th Independence Anniversary Commemorations. The occasion will be held on Monday, 24 October 2022, in Lusaka, Zambia.
Namibia and Zambia enjoy a cordial relationship, dating back to the years of struggle for independence and self-determination for Namibia and its people. Zambia, under the leadership of the late President Kenneth Kaunda, assisted Namibia and hosted many Namibians during its liberation struggle for independence.
President Geingob will depart on Sunday, 23 October 2022, and return on Monday, 24 October 2022.
