Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Army Battle School at Nehale lyaMpingana Barracks was a scene of celebration and achievement on the 13th of October as it hosted a joint graduation ceremony for four significant military courses.

These courses, the 11th Company Group Commanders Course, the 14th Platoon Commanders Course, the Platoon Sergeant Course, and the Section Commander’s Course, aimed to equip students with essential knowledge in both Conventional Warfare and Low-Intensity Conflict Operations.

The ceremony was officiated by Brigadier General Andreas Diyeve, the Deputy Army Commander, and he extended his heartfelt congratulations to the graduates for their outstanding performances throughout the demanding training. General Diyeve emphasized the vital role these programs play in developing a highly trained military force.

In his address, the Deputy Army Commander stressed the cornerstone of success for all armed forces: training. He encouraged graduates at all levels and soldiers alike to cultivate a culture of continuous learning. He underlined the significance of prioritizing training to ensure that the defence force remains fully prepared to fulfil its national mandate in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Namibia. General Diyeve noted, “It is, therefore, of paramount importance that all commanders and uniformed personnel prioritize training.”

Expressing his gratitude, the General acknowledged the Course Officers, Instructors, and all supporting staff for their unwavering dedication and commitment to imparting valuable knowledge and innovations to the members. Their contributions played a pivotal role in the success of the graduates.
