Africa-Press – Namibia. RESIDENTS of Groot Aub who work or study online can now do so from the comfort of their homes instead of commuting to neighbouring towns for greater internet speed. Telecom Namibia will officially launch 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) on Saturday.

TN customers in Groot Aub will have an opportunity to purchase SIM cards, smart routers and pocket Wi-Fi, as well as JIVA, Unlimited Hotspot and Speedlink packages. They will also receive information on the premier 4G technology which will provide internet speeds never experienced in Groot Aub before.

Senior Manager of Marketing Strategy Felicitas Kakoro-Gowases said Telecom Namibia values innovation and embraces excellence in the services the company offers its customers.

“We have made a huge effort to deliver unbeatable data packages, enhancing customer experience. We encourage Groot Aub residents to get onto the digital superhighway”.

According to Kakoro-Gowases, this development further cements TN’s commitment to invest in infrastructure upgrades that enable digital transformation and a consistent superior online experience for customers. It also demonstrates Telecom Namibia’s commitment to bridging the digital divide and bringing services closer to all Namibians.

“Telecom Namibia continues to review its product and service offering to ensure we remain relevant to the market and that we are able to meet our customer demands with the right products at the right price,” Kakoro-Gowases said.
