Africa-Press – Namibia. “SOMEBODY said the apartheid regime was building houses. I cannot forget that. Which houses?” president Hage Geingob asked at Swapo’s policy conference in Windhoek on Friday.
“Some said colonialism was better. Go back to colonialism then,” he said.
The president admitted the task of governing Namibia was not plain sailing, but insisted Swapo has made progress.
He said the war in Ukraine is a reminder to invest in local food security.
“Why must we starve while we have this big land?” he asked.
