Africa-Press – Namibia. The Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) has been left out of the City of Windhoek’s management structure after its councillors received no nomination to be part of the new management committee of the city.
The Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) has been left out of the City of Windhoek’s management structure after its councillors received no nomination to be part of the new management committee of the city.
The IPC previously held two positions in the management committee with councillor Ndeshihafela Larandja (chair) and councillor Jürgen Hecht.
The Windhoek City Council on Tuesday afternoon elected a new management committee chaired by Iise Keister (AR) which includes Austin Kwenani (Swapo) Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma (Swapo), Clemencia Hanases (PDM), and Ivan Skrywer (LPM) as members.
This came after the council voted to remove the previous management committee on 22 August following a vote of no confidence motion brought by Keister.
