Africa-Press – Namibia. Ohangwena police spokesperson, inspector Kaume Itumba has joined the Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund of Namibia as a senior public education officer for the corporate affairs unit.
Itumba was appointed on 18 July 2022.
He replaced long-serving senior public education officer Lineekela Shipindo, who retired last week.
Shipindo served the MVA Fund for 15 years.
Itumba told The Namibian that he will be responsible for educating the general public about the operations of the MVA Fund, as per its legislative mandate.
“I will be educating the public on the overall road safety,” Itumba said.
