Africa-Press – Namibia. The Landless People’s Movement say it has accepted Michael Amushelelo’s resignation from the party.
Amushelelo left the LPM just three months after joining the party. He returned to his previous party, the Namibia Economic Freedom Fighters, on Wednesday.
However, the LPM says it has not yet received an official resignation from Amushelelo.
“As it stands, the gentleman in question has not tendered a formal resignation from the party in any form of communication,” said LPM spokesperson Lifalaza Simataa.
“We, as the party, fully accept his resignation and no longer consider him a member of the Landless People’s Movement,” Simataa said.
