Africa-Press – Namibia. A MAN who was arrested in connection with being in possession of six cannabis plants at Nkurenkuru last week was on Monday granted bail after making his first court appearance in the Rundu Magistrate’s Court.
Johannes Nkengelezi (50) was arrested at Nkurenkuru in the Kavango West region last Thursday.
The plants weigh about 2,18kg, and have a street value of about N$21 800.
Nkengelezi was released on bail in the amount of N$2 000.
His case was postponed to 21 February.
