Africa-Press – Namibia. PRESIDENT Hage Geingob has granted the late former deputy minister of labour and social welfare Alpheus Muheua an official funeral.
Muheua died on 16 February at the age of 65.
Presidential press secretary Alfredo Hengari on Thursday confirmed this and said Geingob has also extended his condolences to the late minister’s wife, Kashona Muheua, children and family.
“President Geingob confers the honour of an official funeral on the late Alpheus Vehonga Muheua.
“The president says he has worked with comrade Muheua for many years, and he was always reliable, hardworking and pleasant,” Hengari said.
Muheua will be buried on Saturday in the Erongo region’s Omatjete district.
