Africa-Press – Namibia. NEDBANK Namibia has appointed Bianca Muller as its human resources (HR) executive.

A statement issued by the bank describes Muller as a seasoned professional with more than 20 years’ work experience.

“She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in various business disciplines, specifically in human resource management, a role she held for the past five years at executive level in the fishing industry,” the statement reads.

Muller holds an honours degree in marketing and a certificate in advanced human resources management, and is studying towards a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) at the Graduate School of Business of the University of Cape Town.

According to Nedbank, Muller’s journey in the human resources field started two decades ago in the banking sector, where she was exposed to all the functions within HR, including recruitment and selection, industrial relations, training, development and remuneration.

She describes her leadership style as empathetic and compassionate, saying this has enabled her to connect with a diverse group of people and build lasting relationships with her team members, creating a work environment that fosters trust, belonging and inclusivity.

Martha Murorua, the managing director of Nedbank Namibia, has expressed confidence regarding Muller’s addition to the bank’s team, saying with it comes a renewed commitment towards developing and mentoring employees for success.

“We are delighted to welcome Bianca to our executive team. With her expertise and invaluable knowledge, she is sure to provide an extra boost of capability that will enable the organisation’s growth. We look forward to seeing new opportunities unfold under her leadership,” Murorua says.

Muller adds: “I truly believe everyone was born with a unique gift, and therefore we are all capable of achieving the remarkable. When leaders inspire this uniqueness to shine, it helps people discover their true purpose and unmatched potential. My role is to foster an environment in which everyone is inspired to bring out their unique self.”
