Africa-Press – Namibia. Namibia’s phenomenal national cricket team scored yet another win in their fairytale debut at the ICC T20 World Cup. A splendid first over by Ruben Trumpelmann helped Namibia start their Super 12 campaign on a strong note as they restricted Scotland to 109/8 in 20 overs. Trumpelmann picked three wickets in the first over and Scotland never recovered from that point.

Michael Leask showed some resistance in the middle and scored 44 from 27 balls, but apart from him, no other batters could prove their mettle against the Namibian bowling attack.

JJ Smit remained unbeaten on 32 off 23 balls as he finished off Namibia’s run chase with a big six. Namibia won by 4 wickets (with 5 balls remaining). Ruben Trumpelmann is man of the match.
