Africa-Press – Namibia. CONGO and Namibia settled for a share of the spoils in their Group H 2022 World Cup qualifier in Brazzaville on Thursday evening.

Peter Shalulile continued his fine form after opening the scoring for Namibia on 42 minutes, although the hosts equalised through Guy Mbenza in the 52nd minute.

Rwanda 0-3 Mali Mali have qualified for the last round of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers after defeating Rwanda 3-0 on Thursday evening. Southampton star Moussa Djenepo opened the scoring on 19 minutes before Ibrahima Kone doubled the lead a minute later.

Kalifa Coulibaly wrapped up the win and first place in Group E with the third goal in the 88th minute. Uganda 1-1 Kenya Uganda missed the chance to move top of Group E after drawing 1-1 with Kenya on Thursday afternoon.

Congo DR kept their World Cup hopes alive with a 2-0 victory over Tanzania in Group J on Thursday afternoon. Former Chelsea attacker Gael Kakuta opened the scoring for the visitors on six minutes.

Cape Town City defender Nathan Fasika and Ben Malango Ngita added the second and third goals in the second half. Benin 2-0 Madagascar Benin moved to the top of Group J with a 2-0 triumph over Madagascar at the Stade de l’AmitiĆ©.

Goals from Jodel Dossou and Steve Mounie put Benin in pole position for a spot in the play-offs heading into the final round of group matches.
