Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, is on a lightning visit to the Ohangwena Region and the Cunene province of Angola, where she will be joined by her Angolan counterpart, Tete Antonio.

From Ondjiva, the two ministers and their respective delegations will pay a courtesy call on Queen Martha Mwadinomho Kristian Nelumbu’s palace at Omhedi, but the focal point will be a meeting at Helao Nafidi town with Namibian cattle farmers who have cattle posts in Angola’s Oshimholo grazing fields and who were recently notified of an impending expulsion.

Both ministers will be accompanied by strong delegations comprising several ministers, governors, and senior officials. The new regional governor of the Ohangwena Region, Sebastian Ndeitunga, revealed in an interview with Informante shortly after his appointment that addressing the contentious issue of Namibian cattle farmers grazing their herds in Angola would be one of his top priorities.
