Africa-Press – Namibia. President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah received a courtesy visit from the management of the African Union Sports Council (AUSC) Region 5, led by CEO Mr Stanley Mutoya. The delegation briefed the President on preparations for the Region 5 Games, which will be hosted at Independence Stadium in Windhoek from 4 to 13 July 2025. President Nandi-Ndaitwah will officially open the Games later today. Mr Mutoya commended the 8th Administration for prioritising sports in Namibia, describing the initiative as a vital step in empowering youth and integrating them into the country’s sustainable development efforts.
