Africa-Press – Namibia. THE National Housing Enterprises (NHE), which has since the late 1990s constructed approximately 400 low-cost houses in Eenhana town, Ohangwena Region, has launched yet another housing project in the northern town, this time constructing 100 houses in Extension 10.

The N$74 million project will be implemented in phases, with the first five-month phase expected to start next week.

According to NHE, the project was launched in response to the growing demand for affordable housing among low-income earners.

The Mayor of Eenhana town, Omri-Onn Kavandje, said that NHE’s housing projects bring dignity, security and opportunities to many families.
