Africa-Press – Namibia. THE long wait for the national examination results of the senior secondary certificate will finally be over Friday.

Education minister Anna Nghipondoka will make the official announcement of the results in the Ohangwena Region Friday morning and the results will be available online and via an SMS line from 12:15.

According to a statement by the ministry’s Executive Director Sanet Steenkamp, good progress was made with the marking and processing of the examination data for the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary and Advanced Subsidiary Levels – NSSCO and NSSCAS – national examinations and the ministry is now in a position to inform the nation that the NSSCO and NSSCAS results for both full-time and part-time candidates will be released on 30 December.

The results will be available on the education ministry’s website www.moe.gov.na or alternatively via SMS line as well as the print media.

To access the results via the SMS line, a candidate will have to send a message with the candidate number to the following numbers: 99099 or 55755 or 44044.

According to Steenkamp the website and the SMS line will be activated at 12:15, almost two hours after the minister’s official announcement.

The respective regional offices will also provide results from the broadsheets to candidates and relatives who personally visit or phone the office during office hours.
