Africa-Press – Namibia. NAMIBIA’s founding resident, Dr. Sam Nujoma, this week launched the Terrace Bay Clean-Up Campaign done by the youth of the Sesfontein constituency in the Kunene region.
Nujoma called on the youth of Sesfontein and Namibia at large to embrace patriotism and love for their environment for the sake of present and future generations.
He urged young people to rather spend their valuable time engaging in productive activities such the campaign and to refrain from unhealthy activities such as alcohol and drugs abuse.
Also at the launch were Minister of Environment, Forestry and Tourism Pohamba Shifeta and Governor of the Kunene region Marius Sheya. The campaign runs from 23 to 27 November.
