Africa-Press – Namibia. FORMER president Sam Nujoma has called on Namibians to shun social ills, including gender-based violence, factionalism, tribalism and regionalism.

He said these do not have a place in promoting social cohesion in Namibia.

Nujoma was speaking at the unveiling of the plaque at the memorial shrine of the late Uukwambi chief, Wilbard Emvula, at Ehafo lya Nelundu village in Oshana region on Wednesday.

“On this Africa Day, let us re-dedicate ourselves to the ideals of Pan-Africanism and remain vigilant against those who want to reverse the gains of our revolution,” Nujoma said.
