Africa-Press – Namibia. THE police in the Omusati region are warning residents to be cautious of thieves breaking into properties through walls.
The warning was issued by Omusati police crime investigations coordinator deputy commissioner Malakia Simaho after thieves on 6 June broke into Celext bar at the Omuthitugwalwani village through a wall.
“We need to be alert because it looks like thieves have changed how they break into properties.
“Here they cut through the wall of a bar and stole liquor valued at N$4 373,50,” Simaho said.
“People should be on the lookout and be cautious.”
