Africa-Press – Namibia. THE driver of an Isuzu pick up died instantly in an accident that happened between Tsumeb and Oshivelo a while ago. According to Oshikoto’s acting regional police commander, Deputy Commissioner Julia Sakuwa, the accident happened when a tyre of the Isuzu bakkie burst, the driver lost control of the vehicle and it crashed into an oncoming truck.
Both vehicles turned. Of the two passengers in the Isuzu, one was slightly injured and the other escaped without a scratch. The driver of the truck was also slightly injured. Sakuwa could not provide more information as she was not yet in possession of a detailed report.
