Africa-Press – Namibia. SWAPO councillor Samuel !Oe-Amseb, from the Outjo municipality, has been elected as president of the Association of Local Authorities in Namibia (Alan).
He is deputised by former Otjiwarongo mayor Hilde Jesaya. Jesaya – also a Swapo councillor.
The duo was elected at the Alan congress at Oshakati on Friday.
The congress started on Thursday and ended on Saturday morning.
