Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Namibian nation will observe a period of mourning following the death of President Dr. Hage G. Geingob on 4 February 2024.
This was announced by Dr. Peya Mushelenga, Minister of Information Communication Technology.
“The Government of the Republic of Namibia would like to inform the public that the mourning period for H.E. Dr. Hage G. Geingob, who passed away on 4 February 2024 in Windhoek, will run from 05 February 2024 until the date of the funeral. During the mourning period, the National Flag and all other flags are hoisted at half-mast across the country and at Namibian missions around the globe. The funeral arrangements will be announced in due course,” Dr. Mushelenga said.
