Dr Tshali Ithete confirmed that Pohamba underwent a medical procedure in July.
“Tate is recuperating well at home after his procedure. He comes in regularly for follow-ups and the medical team is happy with the progress so far.”
Founding president Sam Nujoma visited Pohamba recently.
