President Nandi-Ndaitwah Engages NUDO NDP Consultations

Africa-Press – Namibia. PRESIDENT Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah recently held meetings with the leadership of the National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) and a delegation from the National Democratic Party (NDP).

According to the Namibian Presidency, these engagements form part of her ongoing consultations with political parties across the country.

In her discussions with NUDO’s leadership, the President conveyed her appreciation for their willingness to share their perspectives and insights as elected representatives. She encouraged them to maintain close cooperation with the government in identifying practical solutions aimed at improving the lives of the citizens who have placed their trust in them.

NUDO Vice President, Peter Kazongominja, expressed his gratitude to the President for the opportunity, describing the meeting as a valuable platform to deliberate on key national issues in the collective interest of all Namibians.

During her meeting with the NDP, the President reaffirmed the government’s commitment to engaging with all political formations, underscoring the importance of exchanging ideas to advance national development. She stressed that, regardless of political differences, the common goal must remain the progress of the nation and the welfare of its people.

“The President has and continues to underscore the importance of working together as Namibians for the sake of Namibia. We may belong to different political parties, but as leaders entrusted with the mandate of the people, it is our responsibility to engage one another, share our perspectives and differences, and ensure that the interests of the Namibian people come first,” the President said.

NDP President Lukato Lukato thanked the President for extending the invitation to his party to discuss matters of national importance, and commended her for her inclusive and consultative leadership approach.
