Property raffle reaches milestone

Africa-Press – Namibia. Namibian and international interest is skyrocketing since Informante announced the historic N$29-million or a Lodge and Windhoek Hotel raffle of Namibia Property Raffle’s affiliate marketing programme.

According to an update from marketers their first milestone was achieved through the overwhelming response by close to 800 000 followers of Informante’s Facebook page locally and internationally.

The Namibia Property Raffle’s affiliate marketing programme will draw winners for two prime properties in Windhoek, with a combined value of N$29 million, in December this year. Amani Lodge, located on the Kupferberg road towards the west of the 2city, and BurgsView, located in the city centre, are the properties up for grabs, and winners will have the option to choose between the cash or properties.

The affiliate marketing programme pays a 5% commission on ticket sales, and has been a big hit among Informanté readers. Participants do not have to purchase raffle tickets to become marketers, and can still earn an income. The programme has already seen over 10,000 people sign up as co-marketers. However, the programme has also attracted some internet scammers, who offered raffle tickets at a discount. The owner of the raffle and marketing programme, Basil Smit, warned participants against such scams and advised that no cash or EFT transactions could be processed on the payment platform.

To further promote the integrity of the programme and the great value of affiliate marketing, a media and stakeholder event will be held on May 10 in Windhoek. The event will feature two early prize draws, worth N$12,000 and N$8,000, respectively, to reward early-bird buyers of raffle tickets. The programme’s auditors will oversee the draws to demonstrate the process. Other exciting news about rewards for excellent affiliate marketers will also be announced at the event.
