Africa-Press – Namibia. THE G4S security guard, Ricardo Oxurub, who reportedly stole N$300 000 meant for ATM machines, has finally been apprehended by the police after a week on the long run.
Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, spokesperson of Namibian Police, confirmed the arrest and stated the 35-year-old suspect was arrested this morning at the DRC location in Swakopmund.
A cash amount of N$12 800 was found in his possession. “We commend law abiding citizens who assisted in the successful apprehension of the suspect,” Shikwambi said. Investigations to recover the outstanding monies continues.
