Africa-Press – Namibia. HOLIDAYMAKERS who are travelling back to their respective areas have been asked to drive safely as traffic volume on national roads is expected to increase.
Erongo police’s community affairs officer Inspector Ileni Shapumba said that many people, including children and educators, will be returning from their holidays on Sunday and Monday.
“We, once again, remind drivers to exercise responsibility, to verify vehicle fitness, check tyre pressure, avoid overloading, drive safely and within the allowed speed limit,” he said.
