Africa-Press – Namibia. ON Tuesday, Omuthiya Constituency Councillor Samuel Shivute was re-elected as the Chairperson of the Management Committee for the Oshikoto Regional Council.
His appointment will take effect on June 1, 2023, and will continue until the end of the current members’ term in office.
Also retaining their positions as members of the management committee are Guinas Constituency Councillor Elias Marthinus and Eengodi Constituency Councillor Protasius Neshuku.
In addition, Oniipa Constituency Councillor Vilho Nuunyango, who previously served as an ordinary Council member, was elected as the new member of the management committee.
Hans Nambondi, Gottlieb Ndjendjela, and Mateus Nelumbu were also elected as representatives of the Oshikoto Region to the National Council.
Phillemon Ndjambula, Gideon Shikomba, Sakeus Nangula, and Josef Shilongo serve as ordinary council members.
