Africa-Press – Namibia. IT’S all systems go for the MTC Nestor Sunshine Promotions Together As One Part 5 bonanza billed for Walvis Bay.
Word from the MTC Sunshine camp is that Matheus ‘the Beast’ Heita is ready and confident that he will win his first continental title come Saturday, the fourth of December.
The fight, billed as the main bout, will see the WBA Pan African super bantamweight title up for grabs, but he will first have to deal with the experienced Tinashe Mwadziwana from Zimbabwe.
Speaking ahead of this fight, Heita had this to say:
“I’m extremely honoured to headline this event in my hometown of Walvis Bay. The preparation for this fight has been great and I would like to thank my team for the support. On the fourth of December we will light up Walvis Bay as I lift my new belt. I know it won’t be easy, but I’m well prepared and in excellent shape. I invite the fans to come and watch this spectacular event because it’s always all about the fans,” he said.
Also on the bill are: Erastus Shapaka (1F 1L) versus Festus Simeon (2F 2W) in a flyweight four-rounder; Marvin Nehemia (2-0) against Titus Nautumbo (Pro Debut) in a feather four-rounder; Fredrick Nghutenyane (2-0) versus Johannes Morsande 3-1-1) in a feather four-rounder; Gerson Alweendo (1 draw) versus Lineekela Nghifindaka (1-0) in a junior light four-rounder; Elson Kalus (2-1) versus Rafael Iita (2-3) in a junior welter four-rounder; Andreas Shikongo (10-1) versus David Haufiku (0-2) in a junior middle four-rounder; Nestor Thomas (2-0) versus Antoni Moses (0-2) in a bantam four rounder; Max Ipinge (5-1) versus Tinashe Zihove (1-4) in an international super middle six-rounder; Sebastianus Natanael (15-3) versus Steven ‘Cakic’ Bagwasi (6-1) in an international feather 10-rounder.
The event will take place at Kuisebmond Stadium, with tickets selling at N$20 for children, N$50 for adults and N$200 for ringside seats, available at webtickets.com.na and Pick ‘n Pay stores countrywide.
