Africa-Press – Namibia. In a move to enhance healthcare accessibility across Namibia, the U.S. Government, in collaboration with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and with funding from the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), has officially handed over 16 vehicles to the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS).
The vehicles were handed over in a ceremony held on Tuesday, which, according to the ministry, marks a crucial development in the ongoing efforts to bolster the Clinical Mentorship Programme. The initiative is poised to fortify healthcare delivery nationwide by providing support to healthcare professionals.
The 16 vehicles will be utilized by healthcare personnel to reach remote and underserved regions, ensuring that critical medical assistance is accessible to all Namibians.
