Namibia’s Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation (MIRCO) in a statement said it welcomes the lifting of the travel restrictions which came after an engagement on 21 January 2022 between Namibia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Netumbo Nandi-Ndaiwath and Sheik Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE.

“MIRCO appreciates the prompt reaction of the UAE authorities to the Honourable Deputy Prime Minister and Minister’s call,” the Ministry said.
