“This handover is not just about the transfer of materials; it is about strengthening the foundations upon which education is delivered. It is about creating safe, dignified, and functional spaces that enable effective teaching and meaningful learning for a Namibian child,” Witbooi said.

The Vice President stressed that education remains central to national priorities and highlighted that private sector partnerships are critical for advancing the National Development Plan (NDP6). She urged school leadership and learners to take ownership of the resources, maintain them, and ensure they serve current and future generations.

Witbooi further called on other private sector partners to follow Pupkewitz Megabuild’s example in supporting initiatives that uplift communities. She concluded by reaffirming the government’s commitment to building an inclusive, resilient, and responsive education system, where every child has the opportunity to learn in a safe environment and reach their potential.

Present at the ceremony were Minister of Education, Innovation, Youth, Sports, Arts and Culture Dr. Sanet Steenkamp, Omaheke Governor Pijoo Nganate, and Pupkewitz Megabuild representatives, including Arthur Scholtz, Danie Du Toit, and Pierre Wagner.
