Africa-Press – Namibia. THE Municipality of Walvis Bay will be offering 62 unimproved erven for sale in the town by private treaty as from 1 November 2021.
In a public notice published in the media on Friday, the municipality said the erven comprise single residential, local business, undetermined and light industrial erven at Meersig, Kuisebmund, Narraville and Walvis Bay town.
On offer are 28 single residential erven at Meersig, three business erven at Kuisebmund, two local business erven at Narraville and 28 light industrial erven at Walvis Bay town.
“All erven are to be sold voetstoots without any warranty whatsoever,” said the notice issued by Agostinho Victor, the municipality’s general manager: community and economic development.
Victor added that all erven are for sale to natural persons, companies, close corporations, businesses and developers. “A 10% deposit calculated on the upset price must be paid on the date of sale and the balance must be secured by a bank guarantee within 60 days from the date of sale,” said Victor.
Walvis Bay is considered the second most economic town in the country and holds over N$6,5 billion worth of bank-funded mortgages.
