Africa-Press – Namibia. A 25-YEAR-OLD woman was allegedly raped after either consuming a spiked drink or unknowingly made drunk by unidentified men between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
According to the police crime report, the complainant allegedly went out with her female friend for drinks at the Booz Lab bar in Ongwediva on Christmas Eve.
The two later went to Oshakati and reportedly had drinks with unknown men there.
The alleged rape incident occurred between 23:00 and 01:00.
“She allegedly got intoxicated. When she woke up the next day she realized that she was raped by an unknown suspect or suspects,” the police said.
“She was allegedly under the influence of liquor and had no idea what happened until she noticed while taking a bath that she was raped,” the police said.
No arrest has been made yet and police investigation continues.
