During the operation, the troops also rescued three hostages who had been abducted by the terrorists and recovered AK-47 rifles.
Uba said the success of the operation highlighted the effectiveness of the military’s offensive strategy and the importance of cooperation with local security partners.
He added that troops remain highly motivated and continue to maintain dominance across the theatre of operation, despite the dynamic security environment in the North East.
According to him, Operation HADIN KAI remains committed to dismantling terrorist networks and restoring lasting peace in the region.
