Africa-Press – Nigeria. The former Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru, has debunked reports suggesting he is in “consultations” to join the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
In a statement posted on his official Facebook handle on Tuesday, Badaru described the circulating reports as baseless, unfounded, and a product of political mischief.
The former minister, who is also a founding leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, reaffirmed his absolute commitment to the party and urged the public and party members to disregard the rumours.
“I remain a dedicated member of the APC and have no intention of leaving the party I helped build,” Badaru added.
He further emphasized, “I remain a loyal and committed member of the APC, and there has been no change whatsoever in my political affiliation.”
