Africa-Press – Nigeria. Former President of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, has lashed out at Arise News anchor, Rufai Oseni.
Speaking during an appearance on Arise Television, Agbakoba told the anchor that he was not on the programme to be cross-examined.
The senior lawyer also said that he was not in court to answer questions, stating that he would not answer any questions unrelated to the topic of discussion.
“Before you start, let me just tell you. Rufai, please, I’m not here to be cross-examined by you. I don’t accept what you want to do.
“I’m not going to answer any questions outside what we are discussing. I’m not in a court. Don’t cross-examine me please, I won’t accept that.
“Any cross-examination, I will not answer. If you ask me any question that offends me, I won’t answer,” Agbakoba said.
