Africa-Press – Nigeria. Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has expressed empathy for residents of Angwan Rukuba in Jos North LGA, following the Palm Sunday attack that has left the community shaken.
In a statement addressing the incident, the governor said, “Your pain is my pain,” assuring citizens that the state government is fully committed to restoring peace and ensuring the safety of all residents.
He vowed that justice will prevail.
Authorities have deployed additional security personnel to the area to prevent further incidents, while efforts are ongoing to support victims and assess the damage caused by the attack.
The governor also urged residents to remain calm and cooperate with security agencies, stressing that the government will leave no stone unturned in protecting lives and property in Plateau State.
