Africa-Press – Nigeria. Some gunmen have shot a middle-aged woman in Ibadan community.
The woman identified as Aunty Dupe was shot by the gunmen at Aafin Iyanu area in Ologuneru community, Ibadan.
The woman, according to sources, was driving a white colour Toyota venza car when the incident occurred around 8.pm on Tuesday.
She was shot twice at a very close range on the left side of her neck.
It was learnt that some policemen who were on patrol, immediately drove to the scene.
The woman was later taken to an undisclosed hospital for medical attention.
The Public Relations Officer of the State Police command, Adewale Osifeso confirmed the incident.
“Investigation has commenced into the matter. Updates would be provided accordingly, please,” he said.
