AfCFTA key continental investments growth, says BUA

THE Group Chief Operating Officer, Bua Group, Chimaobi Madukwe has said the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) has the potential of bring significant economic benefits to Nigeria.

Speaking in Lagos while signing an agreement to sponsor African CEO Forum in Abijan, Ivory Coast billed for next year, Madukwe said the biggest impact would be on intra-African trade as the continent will become an increasing dynamic area of economic activities.

According to him, AfCFA is a bold step which CEO of African organisations can explore to chart a new way for development and help the continent achieve greater integration.

Also speaking, the Managing Director, Jeune Afrique Media Group, Amir Ben Yahmed, said Forum has helped to attract large scale investments as well as enhance the competitiveness of African firms.
