Anambra COVID-19 Fund: More philanthropists donate

MORE public spirited citizens have continued to donate to the Anambra State COVID-19 Fund.

An updated list made available today showed that United Anambra Youth Assembly (U-AYA) and United Anambra Women Assembly (U-AWA) contributed N1million.

Igwe Alex Onyido of Ogidi donated N1million and drug supplies, while Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, (PSN) Anambra State Chapter and ASUU (Owerri Zone) donated medical items medical supplies.

Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) donated ventilators, oxygen concentrators, body suits and safety eye wears.

Other illustrious indigenes of the state that have pledged to assist the government with Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and other medical supplies are Prince Arthur Eze, Dr. Cosmas Maduka, Chief Innocent Chukwuma (Innoson), Sir Emeka Offor, Emma Bishop Okonkwo (Ekulo Group) and Chief Allen Onyema (Air Peace).

More donations and support are awaited to support Anambra State Government’s efforts to stop the spread of the virus.
