Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Lille striker Victor Osimhen but face plenty of competition from Tottenham – but The Gunners will surely be doing their all to land the Nigerian, if Kanu’s comments on the forward are anything to go by.
French outlet Le Quotidien du Foot have suggested that Arsenal are rivalling Tottenham and Manchester United for 21-year-old Osimhen this summer, with the report claiming that interested parties would have to spend £89million to sign the striker.
A Nigeria international, Osimhen joined Wolfsburg in January 2017 but failed to score in 16 appearances. He went on loan to Belgian side Charleroi and netted 20 goals in 36 games – earning a move to Lille last summer.
