Nigerian attacker Kelechi Iheanacho has emerged as transfer target for Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas.
As Reported in the Turkish media, Ahmet Nur Cebi, who is contesting for the position of Club’s President, has vowed to bring the Iheanacho to the Vodafone Park next season.
Talks between the Nigerian’s representatives and Ahmet Nur Cebi are reportedly ongoing, but it’s believed that Leicester City’s valuation for the player might make things complicated.
With only 16 starts in the Premier League from a possible 84 since his transfer from Manchester City in August 2017, the forward might be interested in plying his trade elsewhere.
Despite showing good form during pre-season, Iheanacho has barely had playing time this in the premier league, with Foxes Manager Brendan Rodgers preferring Jamie Vardy, Ayoze Perez and Demarai Gray to lead his attack.
Iheanacho’s only appearance for the Foxes this season came in the Carabao Cup.
