Chief Ikokwu, the Chairman of the defunct Nigeria Peoples Party (NPP) in the old Anambra State in the Second Republic has said that the South East “must remain vigilant and not take things for granted” since the insurgent group, Boko Haram, “has threatened to attack the South-East.
The elder Statesman and politician during an interview with Vanguard advised South East people to critically study the ongoing economic and biochemical clashes between the Western and Eastern nations.
“From the millennial creation of humans and animals it has been wars and bickering everywhere and survival of the fittest in the name of civilisation,” he stated.
