Manchester United prompted much backlash when they swooped for Ighalo on the final day of the January transfer window.
But the Nigeria international has justified the club’s faith in him, scoring four times since his surprise arrival.
Ighalo got off the mark in the 5-0 thumping of Club Brugge at the end of February on his first start for the Red Devils.
He then followed that up with a brilliant brace against Derby in the FA Cup and also found the net on Thursday as United beat LASK 5-0 in their Europa League clash.
And the Mirror say that Ighalo has become a popular figure among his team-mates in the short time since his arrival.
It’s said he’s integrated ‘seamlessly’ and, given how well things are going, he could be in line for a permanent move.
