NFF, Europe’s football governing body UEFA and Chelsea have sent birthday wishes to former Nigeria international Victor Moses who turns 29 on Thursday.

Celebrating Moses on their verified Twitter handle, the NFF recalled Moses’ 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winning feat with the Eagles.

“Happy birthday to #Afcon2013 winner, @VictorMoses,” the NFF wrote.

UEFA recollects that Moses was a Europa League winner while at Chelsea.

“Happy birthday, 2013 winner Victor Moses!” UEFA wrote on their Europa League Twitter handle.

While Chelsea wrote: “Happy birthday, @VictorMoses!”

Moses made his Super Eagles debut in 2012 and retired from the national team in 2018 after making 38 appearances and scoring 12 goals.

He scored two crucial penalties as the Eagles beat Ethiopia 2-0 in their last group game at the 2013 AFCON and qualify for the quarter-final.

It was the Eagles’ only win in the group stage following disappointing draws against Burkina Faso and Zambia in their opening two games.
