Osun United head coach, David Samson Unuanel has resigned his appointment as the head of technical crew of the Club after their week 5 Nigeria National League defeate against Giant Brillars.
Osun United was leading 2-0 against the home team in the first half, but the witnessed a total collapse in the second half as Brillars Giants scored four times to win the game 4-2.
However, Unuanel accused his players of deliberately losing matches from same mistakes and that has left his place as the head of technical crew untenable.
“We are leading 2-0 in the first half without any pressure from the opponents and conceded 4 goals in the second half with the same mistakes ,It was something outrageous, a gang up’.
“I therefore resign my appointment with immediate effect” Unuanel disclosed to Osun United media team.
The loss is a big blow to the quest of the team for the promotion into the Nigeria elite league.
