Africa-Press – Nigeria. Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo has approved the nomination of another batch of commissioner-nominees to be appointed into the State Executive Council.
The names of the nominees are Dr Elizabeth Ebosele, Hon. Christopher Ewere Okaeben, and Hon. Festus Odianosen Ebea.
The Secretary to the Edo State Government, Barrister Umar Musa Ikhilor disclosed this on Friday in a statement made available to newsmen in Benin City.
The nominees have now brought the total number of commissioners so far appointed and nominated to 29 by the State Governor.
Recall that out of the earlier nominated and confirmed 26 nominees, only nine have been sworn in and assigned portfolios.
Two of the nominees, Hon Festus Ebea and Hon Christopher Ewere Okaeben were former members of the Edo State House of Assembly.
Hon Ebea, the former Deputy Speaker of the House, represented Esan South East constituency, while Hon Okaeben represented Oredo West constituency.
