Osinbajo fights hard, vows to waive his immunity to be investigated

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Wednesday, September 25, in a tweet said that he is ready to forgo his immunity to allow for proper investigation of falsehood and libel against him.

The second citizen of the nation also said that he has asked that a legal action be taken against Timi Frank and Katch Ononuju who have been at the forefront of the falsehood claims.

It should be noted that Frank is a former deputy national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress who said that the Federal Inland Revenue Service provided thee vice president with a sum of N90 billion for election campaign.

The Cable reports that the former secretary of the ruling part said that he would not be intimidated by the service’s move to sue him as he asked it to stop its deception.

This was disclosed in a tweet by Laolu Akande, senior special assistant-media & publicity to vice president on Wednesday, September 25.

Akande said all allegations being spread on some social media platforms like WhatsApp are fake. as he described those responsible for spreading the false reports as faceless people.

He said that those involved in peddling such evil lies would face legal action if they are identified.
